The Wow Wee Paper Jamz Guitar is a musical toy instrument that is made up of paper and cardboard. This one inch thick material is stringless. So how can you play music without strings? Easy. Paper Jamz has made the guitar touch sensitive. You would only have to tap the surface of the paper which is set with a special circuit to make sounds.

There are six guitar styles available with the Wow Wee Paper Jamz Guitar and each one comes with three different songs. Each style would work well with the corresponding drum set style. So if your kid has guitar style 1 and his friend has drum style 1, then they can have a jamming session.

Each guitar comes with three licensed songs and you can play this in the perfect play mode or on the other modes. In the perfect play, no matter where you tap the guitar you will still be able to produce the correct music and the right song will still be playing for you.

You can have more freedom on the other modes though. In the rhythm mode though the song still plays out for you, you can control the rhythm in every song. You will need to know what tempo to follow to be able to play out each song properly. In this way, your kid will know how to create the appropriate rhythm to any song.

There is also a karaoke mode where you can mute the volume of the vocals and even the backing tracts. This way your kid can hear them singing the song or playing some parts of the music.

The Freestyle mode though is where you can practice the most freedom in playing. Here you will play for yourselves without the help of the toy. Music that you produce from tapping the guitar will be the only one heard. This is the mode where your kid can go crazy. You can create wonderful music with your little one by using this mode.

The Freestyle mode is a good introduction into the mechanics of how to play a real guitar. You can pick a real chord just by tapping on the fret of the board. If you use one finger only this will produce a major, two fingers will get a major, and using three fingers will give you 7^th.

With all these features in tow, these toys will not only provide enjoyable playtime and open-ended playing, it will teach your kids the basics and will equip them with knowledge on the mechanics of playing a real guitar. For the meantime, they enjoy playing their hearts out and making good music and in the long run they get to nurture their musically and they are prepared for great things to come.
